El Diablo during the past 4 years El Diablo,
alongside Skip intro, has been pioneering the Video dj
medium within Dhamaal, and these two are now redefining
the genre itself. Using sampled film footage charged with
political content along with music video-style graphix
shots and edits, el Diablo weaves a slick cultural
background > to perfectly compliment skip intro's more
abstract, other-worldly, mind bending graphics, fx and
live camera work. The improvisation and live mixing of
these two Video djs is a constantly evolving art form.
Each armed with the latest vj technology, el diablo and
Skip rhythmically break apart the songs into their basic
components, and re-interpret their movement in the video
medium, so they become visual re-mixes of the music and
provide the perfect live accompaniment to the driving
beats. This is the Dhamaal Sightsystem.
