The Dhamaal crew has created cutting edge music, video, art and events that celebrate the cultural diversity of the Bay Area and beyond. selection of the best in global music, film and art. The Festival features world music influenced shows in San Francisco, New York, Marin, Oakland, San Diego, and Berkeley. Also this year Dhamaal is proud to co-present all the South Asian films of the 24th Annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival.

Over 5000 people are expected to attend the Festival,
which in the coming years is focused on becoming globally recognized for mirroring the cultural diversity of the planet through music, dance and art.

Dhamaal continues its strong community involvement with funds from the Festival being donated to Narika, a helpline for abused South Asian Women, the Earthquake Relief Efforts in Asia and the Human Crisis in Darfur, Africa.
